Group Facilitator

We are looking for a dynamic and engaging group facilitator who has experience in mental health and addiction services. The group facilitator position consists of teaching and performing groups that focus on relapse prevention, DBT, ACT, music therapy, art therapy, and/or other therapy based group sessions. Group facilitators need to have strong group facilitation skills and knowledge and experience in clinical documentation and be able to submit group therapy notes in a timely manner. This is a PRN position.

Education: Bachelor's in psychology, sociology, criminal justice, or social work required. Masters preferred.

Essential duties and responsibilities include cordially greeting and providing direction for patients and guests, orienting new patients immediately upon admission, introducing new clients to the therapeutic community, facilitating psychoeducation weekly and on an as-needed basis, documenting groups and guest therapists as needed, communicating all pertinent clinical information and documentation related to patient's intake process to the treatment programs, providing appropriate crisis intervention as necessary by anticipating and responding to escalating behaviors and correctly prioritizing safety concerns, preparing for and facilitating psycho-educational groups and documenting resident progress, and observing all confidentiality regulations.
