About the Role:

Theatre Technical Director/Scene Shop Manager

What You'll Do:

1. Train and manage paid and volunteer student labor
2. Organize student run crews
3. Work from designer's models and drawings to build sets for 4 shows per year
4. Co-teach stage craft class and design one production per year.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Undergraduate degree in theatre or equivalent
2. Evidence of scenic designs
3. Experience in scenic construction plus experience working with students

Preferred Qualifications:

1. MA/MFA in technical theatre
2. 2 years experience in scenic construction at the college level (or equivalent) plus experience working with students
3. Teaching experience

The final salary will be determined based on factors such as education, experience, skills, certifications, and alignment with the position's requirements. Other considerations may include internal equity and market conditions.
