Ex: Political Director, Communications Director)Application Instructions: Apply using the link.Application Link: ResponsibilitiesFundraising Strategy & ManagementManage and mentor finance staff, including assigning, supervising, and directing their work.Develop and execute a comprehensive finance plan aligned with ADP's electoral and organizational goalsOversee and manage ADP's fundraising calendar, including:Two annual flagship galasRegional, in-district, and out-of-state fundraising eventsSmall and medium donor eventsTrack progress toward fundraising goals and adjust strategy as neededDonor Development & Major GiftsCultivate, solicit, and steward major donors and prospective donorsConduct donor research and build targeted call and meeting listsStaff donor meetings for party leadership, elected officials, and candidatesProactively identify and pursue new donors and fundraising opportunitiesDigital & Collaborative FundraisingCollaborate with fundraising staff and vendors on email, text, and online fundraising effortsSupport integrated fundraising campaigns that connect digital and high-dollar strategiesAssist with fundraising messaging, signers, and donor engagement strategyPartnerships & Stakeholder EngagementWork closely with labor unions, progressive organizations, and allied partners on fundraising effortsCoordinate with campaigns, Legislative Districts (LDs), and county parties to support fundraising initiativesProvide fundraising guidance, training, and support to local parties and candidatesEvents & Party SupportSupport fundraising and donor engagement tied to major party events, including State Committee meetingsAssist with planning and execution of special events involving party leadership and elected officialsTeam & OperationsMaintain accurate records of donor interactions and contributionsEnsure compliance with all campaign finance laws and reporting requirementsCoordinate with compliance, accounting, and operations vendors and teamsQualifications & ExperienceRequired4+ years of fundraising experience and at least one full cycle of experience as a Finance Director or equivalent senior fundraising role for a campaign or political organization is preferred.Demonstrated experience managing staff and fundraising programsStrong donor-facing skills with the ability to build authentic, long-term relationshipsProven ability to plan and execute fundraising events and donor meetingsComfortable making direct asks and pursuing new donor relationshipsWillingness and ability to travel for fundraising eventsPreferredExperience working with state parties, coordinated campaigns, or large political organizationsFamiliarity with labor and progressive fundraising ecosystemsExperience training candidates, local parties, or volunteers on fundraisingExperience with political fundraising databases and donor research toolsSkills & AttributesStrong understanding of NGPVAN, ActBlue, and Numero preferred.Outgoing, confident, and highly motivatedStrong organizational and project-management skillsExcellent written and verbal communicationAbility to juggle multiple deadlines and prioritiesTeam-oriented, collaborative, and mission-drivenFlexible and adaptable in a fast-moving political environment
