Key responsibilities Review medical records, laboratory results, and toxicology reports to prepare clear clinical summaries Respond to client inquiries regarding toxicologic findings, diagnoses, and treatment options Evaluate the medical necessity and appropriateness of toxicology-related evaluations and treatments Required qualifications MD or DO from an accredited medical school Board Certification in Medical Toxicology or significant experience in toxicology Current, unrestricted Texas medical license Minimum of 5+ years of clinical experience in toxicology or a related specialty Expertise in reviewing medical records and providing evidence-based clinical opinions
