To support specialty medication authorization processes, the full-time Texas Licensed Specialty Pharmacist will conduct clinical reviews, manage inbound calls regarding prior authorizations, and collaborate with healthcare professionals in a fully remote capacity. Key responsibilities Collaborates with Technicians and Nurses to process authorization requests and conduct clinical assessments Coordinates timely communication of case decisions to physicians, health plans, and patients Handles inbound phone calls and escalations related to Prior Authorization inquiries Required qualifications Active pharmacist license in Texas in good standing Bachelor's degree in pharmacy or Pharm D Minimum of 2-5 years of clinical experience with specialty medications or prior authorization requests Experience using MS Office and other Windows-based applications Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
