To enhance patient outcomes in a dynamic mental health team, the full-time Texas Licensed Psychiatric Physician Assistant will conduct assessments, manage medications, and collaborate with healthcare professionals, with opportunities for both Telehealth and in-person patient care in Houston, TX. Key responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments, including intake interviews and mental status examinations Prescribe and manage medications in accordance with collaborative practice agreements and regulations Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive care strategies and participate in clinical research Required qualifications Valid certification as a Physician Assistant with current state licensure in good standing Demonstrated experience in psychiatric or mental health settings, preferably in hospital or outpatient environments Proficiency with EMR systems and telehealth experience Strong understanding of pharmacology related to psychotropic medications Commitment to HIPAA compliance and confidentiality standards in patient care
