Texas Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

To support a growing practice, the full-time salaried Texas Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will assess patients' mental and physical health, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop treatment plans, and provide psychotherapy and medication management in a remote setting. Key responsibilities Diagnose psychiatric disorders, conduct individual psychotherapy, and prescribe medications while monitoring patients' treatment responses Document patients' medical histories, treatment plans, and outcomes in compliance with HIPAA and national standards of care Collaborate with team members to evaluate and implement effective treatment plans for patients across the lifespan Required qualifications 2 years of experience practicing as a Nurse Practitioner Board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) license Experience in addiction and mental health treatment Comfort working with patients aged 13 and older, including those with severe mental illness Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) and telehealth technology
