To support a growing telemedicine practice, a part-time Texas Licensed Ophthalmologist will deliver consultations and follow-up care for elderly patients using a proprietary AI-assisted platform, with flexible scheduling of 1-2 days per week and the option to work remotely from anywhere in Texas. Key Responsibilities Conduct video-based ophthalmic consultations and review AI-generated pre-assessments for elderly patients Diagnose and manage common geriatric eye conditions, prescribing medications and coordinating referrals as needed Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with Texas Medical Board standards and participate in quality reviews to improve AI diagnostic accuracy Required Qualifications MD or DO with board certification in Ophthalmology Active, unrestricted Texas medical license or willingness to obtain prior to start Minimum 3 years of post-residency clinical experience in ophthalmology Experience or comfort treating geriatric patients Proficiency with telemedicine platforms and digital health tools
