To support a growing telemedicine practice, the full-time Texas Licensed Nurse Practitioner will manage new, follow-up, and established headache patients while working remotely with a predictable Monday-Friday schedule and occasional in-person training and meetings. Key responsibilities Assess patients' physical and mental conditions through comprehensive examinations and medical histories Formulate and implement comprehensive treatment plans based on patient assessments and evidence-based medicine Prescribe medications and recommend treatments while counseling patients and families on illness management and health promotion Required qualifications Current license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in Texas Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program National Nurse Practitioner certification in the area of specialty for intended patient population Preferred five years of Advanced Practice Provider experience, with an emphasis on headache medicine Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire or transfer
