Texas Licensed Information Security Engineer

Seeking a Texas Licensed Information Security Engineer for a short-term remote contract role, this position will develop and maintain threat detection, manage incident response, and implement security controls across cloud and application environments. Key responsibilities Develop, tune, and maintain threat detections across various environments Investigate and resolve security alerts, coordinating incident response as needed Design and implement security controls while improving vulnerability management practices Required qualifications Senior-level security experience with the ability to work independently 3+ years of hands-on cloud security experience, specifically with AWS Experience with security tools such as SIEM, EDR, and vulnerability scanning Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks like HITRUST and NIST Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent experience
