Texas Licensed Consult-Liaison Psychiatrist

To support emergency department and inpatient teams, the full-time Texas Licensed Consult-Liaison Psychiatrist will provide high-quality psychiatric evaluations and consultations remotely, with flexible scheduling and reduced weekend shifts. Key responsibilities: Conduct psychiatric evaluations and consultations for patients across various age groups in emergency and inpatient settings Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including supervising Nurse Practitioners, to ensure comprehensive patient care Manage a schedule of 13-16 shifts per month, with only 1-2 weekend shifts required Required qualifications: Active medical license in Texas or Georgia; IMLC Letter of Qualification preferred Completion of a 4-year ACGME Residency Program in Psychiatry Board Certification in Psychiatry is required Minimum of 2 years of post-residency consult-liaison experience Experience treating patients aged 5 and older in emergency or inpatient settings
