Negotiating and processing payments for past due accounts, the part-time Texas Licensed Collections Agent will work remotely to contact customers, assess their financial conditions, and implement solutions for delinquent balances while adhering to established guidelines. Key responsibilities Negotiate payment arrangements and process payments for delinquent accounts through direct customer contact Conduct thorough inquiries to assess consumers' financial conditions and determine reasons for delinquency Maintain accurate records of customer accounts and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations Required qualifications Prior collections or debt settlement work history is mandatory High school diploma required; some college preferred Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends Strong negotiation skills and a competitive, persuasive demeanor Detail-oriented with the ability to document information accurately in the system
