Remote Full Time Healthcare Practitioners and Technical Occupations

To ensure accurate and compliant coding of patient encounters, the full-time, remote Texas Licensed Clinical Coding Specialist will review medical records, assign appropriate clinical codes, and collaborate with coding professionals and clinical partners while supporting billing and reimbursement processes. Key responsibilities Review medical records and assign accurate Evaluation and Management CPT, ICD-10 CM, and other relevant codes Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding coding issues and training needs Maintain compliance with coding guidelines and participate in professional development activities Required qualifications Associate's Degree in Health Information Management, Healthcare Administration, or a related field 5 years of clinical coding experience for complex or multi-specialties, or 3 years with a preferred degree Active certification as RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CCA, CPC, or COC upon hire Experience in Evaluation and Management coding and familiarity with EPIC Preferred Bachelor's Degree in a related healthcare field
