To support the Ob/Gyn Department, the remote Certified Coding Specialist I/II/III will review medical documentation to assign and sequence CPT/HCPCS, ICD-10CM codes, and modifiers for inpatient/outpatient encounters, ensuring compliance with coding guidelines and departmental procedures. Key responsibilities Review and resolve coding edits in the work queue in a timely manner Accurately assign and sequence codes while ensuring compliance with applicable guidelines Perform charge entry for professional services and maintain coding quality and productivity standards Required qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required 2 years of related coding experience required Texas Certified Coding Specialist (CCS), Certified Professional Coder (CPC), or equivalent certification required within 6 months of hire Knowledge of ICD-10 CM and CPT coding conventions Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and ability to maintain a database
