Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle (flatbed trailers).
- Secure steel loads using chains, binders, and straps according to DOT regulations.
- Inspect vehicles and loads to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Maintain accurate driving logs, delivery paperwork, and time records.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers.
- Adhere to all federal, state, and company safety policies and procedures.
- Valid Class A CDL and clean driving record.
- Minimum 2 years of recent FLATBED experience REQUIRED .
- Experience hauling steel, machinery, or fabricated metal parts required.
- Proficient in load securement (chains, straps, binders, tarping when necessary).
- Ability to lift and handle securement equipment safely.
- Must pass DOT physical and drug screen.
- Reliable, self-motivated, and safety-focused.
- References from previous FLATBED employers.
