Your Role

As the Testing Manager , you will lead the transformation of testing from manual processes to scalable, automated solutions. You will champion quality assurance excellence, streamline testing workflows, and cultivate a high‑performing team focused on continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and support a multidisciplinary test team through the transition from manual to automated testing.
  • Oversee the implementation, optimization, and maintenance of automated testing frameworks and tools.
  • Establish and enforce testing standards, procedures, and quality benchmarks.
  • Generate clear, actionable reports and present key testing metrics to stakeholders and clients.
  • Perform hands‑on testing when required to resolve complex defects or support critical project phases.
  • Partner closely with clients to understand requirements, communicate project status, and ensure alignment.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of testing processes, frameworks, results, and best practices.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, speed, and efficiency across the testing lifecycle.

Qualifications

  • Strong expertise in designing scalable automated test architectures for enterprise systems.
  • Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, and GitLab.
  • Solid understanding of API testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Postman, REST Assured).
  • Ability to analyze complex systems and identify opportunities for automation and quality improvement.
  • Demonstrated success in stakeholder management and communicating technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.
  • Background in federal compliance requirements or secure development practices is highly beneficial.
  • Proven capacity to coach and develop team members, fostering a collaborative and growth‑oriented environment.

Compensation

The base pay range for this position in California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland is $106,300—$2,210,100 USD.
