Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Entry-Level Assembly & Test Technician to join our team. In this role, you will provide foundational technical support across production, operations, testing, and equipment maintenance. Working under close supervision and following established procedures, you will set up test apparatus, assemble mechanical/electronic units, perform routine quality checks, and record technical data.

This position is ideal for an entry-level candidate or recent engineering/technical graduate looking to build a career in technical operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Testing & Calibration: Set up test apparatus and conduct routine tests on production units following standard methods, procedures, and sequences. Adjust and calibrate systems as directed.
  • Assembly & Modification: Lay out and assemble units for production equipment according to design specs and diagrams. Modify equipment by adding, removing, or altering components based on predetermined schematics.
  • Troubleshooting & Repairs: Correct equipment malfunctions by adjusting or replacing parts under guided supervision.
  • Tools & Equipment: Use hand tools, small power tools, and standard measuring/testing instruments safely and accurately.
  • Quality & Data Management: Perform basic quality verification following statistical process controls. Gather, format, and record technical data using established formulas and perform foundational mathematical calculations.
  • Process Support: Follow defined routines to support process improvements, safety standards, and team objectives.

Qualifications & Requirements

Required:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 0 years of experience (entry-level).
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with basic work routines, simple laboratory or mechanical techniques, and standard test instruments.

Preferred:

  • Educational background or associate/bachelor degree coursework in an engineering or technical discipline.

Core Technical & Professional Skills:

  • Attention to Detail: Precision in following diagrams, assembling components, and recording data.
  • Technical Communication: Ability to clearly share technical information verbally and in writing within the immediate team.
  • Time Management: Capability to follow daily production schedules and manage assigned task routines effectively.
