We are searching for a Test Technician to handle the testing of products developed by our company for public release. In this role, you will be required to plan, conduct, and report on testing done to products under development as well as provide advice and feedback to relevant stakeholders.This position is based at our Santa Isabel, PR location. You must be residing in Puerto Rico at the time of starting employment.

Relocation is not offered.What You Will DoInteract with other functional groups (e.g. engineering, manufacturing) on routine technical mattersSet up and operating various test standsConfigure test equipment for special tests as neededInterpret and recording test resultsRecognize and isolating test equipment failuresTake electrical measurements to determine select resistors using strong math skillsUse diagnostic tools to troubleshoot electronic units to the sub-assembly and component levelRead and interpreting technical data such as component maintenance manuals, engineering prints, and schematicsEffectively communicating work status to team members and support staff (e.g. shift pass down, engineering, maintenance)Perform technical tasks based on detailed written or verbal instructions.Utilize limited variety of microelectronic, electronic, optical, electro-optical, mechanical, or electromechanical equipment, including computers and lasers.Perform entry level troubleshooting, calibration or modification of hardware, fixtures, and software.Participate on project teams.Perform task prioritization.Apply technical expertise in the evaluation, development, maintenance and use of products, devices, tests, or procedures under constantly changing conditions where some ingenuity and judgment are required.Support activities through the resolution of problems and preparation and maintenance of documentation.Manage work flow throughout area to achieve team goals.Evaluate and troubleshoot non-conformances.Fabricate hardware, equipment, tools or prototypes from drawings or sketches.Estimate labor, material, and manufacturing costs for the building and repair of product or process enhancement.Provide accurate recording of time changes, test data, parts usage, etc. This requires limited data interpretation.Utilize multiple databases to create/use necessary information to provide information for decision making requiring limited judgment.An essential function of this role is the ability to accurately see, read, and interpret information on screens and materials for extended periods.

You will be required to successfully complete a post offer vision examination.Qualifications You Must HaveTypically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D. in the US), an Associate degree in technical area: Electronic Engineering, Electronicsor vocational/technical education in related discipline with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experienceDemonstrated professional or educational experience communicating in English and Spanish (verbal and written).U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S.
