This role supports production by ensuring assemblies are built in accordance with released work instructions and validated through standardized test methods for leakage, flow performance, pressure drop, and thermal behavior. This work supports both low-volume development efforts and higher-volume production programs.Work is performed within an ISO 9001-compliant and ITAR-controlled manufacturing environment.This role requires 5 days onsite per week.Responsibilities:Assemble cooling plates and complete cooling loop systems in accordance with released work instructions and controlled documentationInstall and verify fluid fittings, tubing, manifolds, and sealing interfacesEnsure proper torque application and sealing integrityMaintain repeatability and consistency across specimensHandle components in accordance with cleanliness and quality requirementsTest & Verification:Execute defined test procedures to confirm product performance, operating, and support test equipment such as:Flow measurement systemsPressure instrumentationThermal test setups (including installing thermocouples on cold plates)Data acquisition toolsDocument test results in accordance with quality system requirements.Follow company policies and procedures, including safety regulations, personal protective equipment requirements, Standard Operating Procedures, Work Instructions, and Good Manufacturing ProceduresReview and update manufacturing records and work orders, identify and correct errors, and submit finished documentation for quality releasePerform quality checks and inspectionsInspect final parts, test material properties, and record dataSupport troubleshooting effortsProvide feedback to help make improvements and identify issues - we love feedback!Support inventory tracking, shipping, and receivingOther duties as neededWhat you'll bring:High school diploma or equivalent required.
Technical training or an associate's degree in a mechanical, manufacturing, or related discipline preferred3–6 years of hands-on experience in:Mechanical assemblyFluid systemsFunctional testing environmentsExperience assembling pressure-containing or fluid-based systemsFamiliarity with threaded fluid connectionsExperience working with O-ring and gasket sealing practicesExperience using torque tools and standard inspection equipmentFunctional testing experience with fluid systems (preferred)Experience with leak testing methods such as pressure decay and helium leak checking (preferred)Familiarity with flow or pressure-based test setups (preferred)Familiarity with common thermal testing methods, such as surface thermocouplesAbility to operate a computer-based data acquisition system and interpret basic test data (preferred)Experience working in ISO-controlled or other regulated manufacturing environments (preferred)Ability to work within ITAR-controlled environmentsAble to occasionally lift up to 25 lbs independently, 50 lbs with assistFamiliarity with any of the following is a plus: metrology, 3D printing, robotics, CNC machining, and spreadsheet softwareSALARY RANGE: $48,000 - $72,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
