Test TechnicianLocation: Batesburg-Leesville, South Carolina Type: Contract Compensation: $26-28 per hour Contractor Work Model: Onsite – onsite Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesUnderstand and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and other documentation related to electronic systemsConduct various electronic testing, ensuring quality standards and specifications are metTroubleshoot and assist with root cause analysis to identify defects, malfunctions, and the source(s) of product issuesPerform operational tests and adjustments on electronic equipment using standard procedures and specialized test equipment, such as oscilloscopes, network analyzers, multimeters, etc.Provide feedback and recommendations to improve manufacturing processes and test flows for efficiencyMaintain a clean and organized workspaceAdhere to safety and quality guidelines and company policiesMust have the ability toObtain an IPC Certification (In-house training)Identify problems and assist with finding solutionsRead and review test results and identify root cause failuresLift, stand, walk, and work on concrete surfaces for extended periods of timeLift or lower items weighing < 24lbs (10.9kg) and Push or Pull efforts < 42lbs (19kg)Required QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED equivalent3+ years of Electronic OR equivalent Tester experienceSolid understanding of electronics, including hardware and softwareStrong attention to detailExcellent interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office applications and SAP Enterprise Software
