Test Engineer PositionASRC Federal Mission Solutions is a premier provider of systems engineering, software engineering, system integration and project management services for real-time, mission-critical defense systems. We are seeking highly motivated Test Engineers to join our team at Schriever Space Force Base, in Colorado Springs, CO.This exciting career opportunity will support the U.S. Missile Defense Agency through the testing and verification of Modeling and Simulation applications used in warfighter training and exercises - testing new capabilities, documenting new features, and analyzing simulation performance.This role requires candidates to be onsite daily with no option for remote/hybrid work.Basic Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline preferred from an accredited university and 2 years of related work experience, or a Master's Degree in a STEM discipline and 0-2 years of related work experienceApplicants must have a current active in-scope U.S. Government (DoD) Department of Defense issued Secret Security clearance at the time of application which is required to startFamiliarity with Agile software development practicesUnderstanding of software development and Linux platformProficiency in at least one programming/scripting language (e.g., Python, Java, or JavaScript)Proficient in developing and executing test plans, test cases, test reports, and analyzing performance metricsPreferred Qualifications:Experience with Systems Engineering V-lifecycle processes, including requirements decomposition, verification, and validation to ensure compliance at both system and software levelsExperience or knowledge of Bash, Git, Docker / Podman, Testing REST APIsExperience interacting with SQL databasesKnowledge or experience in several of the following: missile defense domain knowledge, command and control, and modeling and simulation developmentFamiliarity with DevOps principles / softwareExperience in Jenkins, Github, Bitbucket, SonarQube, CAMEO, C# / ASP.NET, Curl commands, Automated API testingExperience working with CI/CD pipelines and integrating tests into the delivery processWe invest in the lives of our employees, both in and out of the workplace, by providing competitive pay and benefits packages.
