Test Engineer – Jr LevelRole: Test Engineer – Jr level Duration: 3 - 6 months (Option to convert in Full Time) Location: Milpitas, CA Experience: 3 – 5 YearsResponsibilities:Candidate will work on display product involving light engines. The candidate will have to learn the test and calibration methods which are SW code used to calibrate the light engine. There are various types of application SW that the candidate will be trained on (2-3 weeks max), then the candidate will run the code for multiple light engines. The candidate primary job is to repetitively calibrate 100s of Light engines and report errors and issues to the manager as they see them.
Candidate will be trained to use external calibration tools such as cameras and color monitorsNeed to have a technical test engineering degree- a highly trained test technician or junior EE.Top Skills and Must-haves skills:Mechanical dexterity to mount and install light engines, PCBAs, cables. Ability to hook up HW and load SW. Take data and report results in excel.
