Test Engineer – IntegrationWe are seeking a skilled Test Engineer – Integration to lead the development and execution of system integration test plans for a power and frequency control product. This role requires hands-on test planning and setup, working with low-voltage electrical systems, and collaboration with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure seamless product integration.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign comprehensive test plans for validating integration of electrical components within system-level designs.Execute integration test plans to ensure proper functionality of the supplier-provided power control product within the company's system.Analyze test requirements from product management and translate them into test specifications and procedures.Set up and manage test benches and equipment for low-voltage systems (under 200 amps).Collaborate with engineering teams and suppliers to resolve integration issues and ensure product compatibility.Use tools such as P diagrams, boundary diagrams, and DFMEA to identify and address integration gaps.Operate independently while managing timelines and deliverables over the course of the project lifecycle.QualificationsEducation: BSEE or Associate's Degree in Electrical Engineering required.Experience: 5+ years of experience designing and executing system integration tests for electrical products.Deep understanding of power generation, power transmission, and frequency regulation concepts.Experience using engineering tools like P diagrams, boundary diagrams, and DFMEA.Strong whiteboarding and conceptual design skills – able to develop integration specs from a blank slate.Proven ability to work independently while maintaining clear communication with cross-functional and external teams.Project TimelineMonths 1–4: Focus on designing and setting up test infrastructure.Months 5–8: Execution of system integration tests and validation activities.
