Test Engineer IIIAcutronic is looking for a Test Engineer III who will perform a wide range of tasks including: product testing, validation/qualification, assembly, supply chain, inventory, and quality management; as well as manufacturing and engineering tasks. The goal and purpose of the Test Engineer's job duties will be to maintain robust operational systems to achieve manufacturing consistency, drive continual improvement, and reduce product defects and human error.Your Roles/Responsibilities:Develop and execute test procedures and functional testing for jet engine systems and subsystemsSelect and integrate appropriate test equipment, instrumentation, and data acquisition systems to support required data collection for jet engine system and subsystem testingEnsure instrumentation and test equipment remain calibrated in accordance with internal standardsCollect, analyze, and post-process test data in accordance with internal and customer requestsGenerate test reports, documentation, and data packagesDevelop test standards, procedures, standard work, and safety protocolsContinuously improve test facilities, data acquisition capabilities, and test equipmentDevelop relevant procedures and instructions to support QC methods, changes or formalized decisionsDesign and implement sampling procedures and related instructions for recording, evaluating, and reporting quality dataLead and/or support negotiations with customers concerning quality demand fulfillment(s); and/or resolution of quality deficiencies including preparing external customer documentationYour Profile/Qualifications/Skills:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field requiredAt least seven years of experience in testing of aerospace systemsStrong background in measurement of pressures, temperatures, fluid flow, vibration, etc; with experience in standard measurement techniques, instrumentation options, and data acquisition systemsWorking knowledge of LabView or similar data acquisition systemsWe Offer:Employer-paid medical, dental, and vision insurance401k matchCompany-paid holidays and Paid-Leave Time9/80 scheduleAbout Acutronic: The Acutronic Group has a proud history of building technologies and teams that are crucial to the aerospace, defense, and transportation industries.
