This role supports product validation, troubleshooting, automation, and environmental testing activities while collaborating closely with engineering and operations teams to ensure product quality and reliability.ResponsibilitiesLearn and develop expertise in the operation, architecture, and design of the Yotta Block system and related productsExecute manual bench testing using battery cyclers, power supplies, DC electronic loads, inverters, and data acquisition systemsDevelop and execute automated test procedures using Python, LabVIEW, or similar scripting/programming toolsAnalyze test data, troubleshoot failures, and document findings clearly and accuratelySupport root-cause investigations and debugging of electrical and system-level issuesPropose and implement new test methods to improve validation coverage and efficiencyBuild, maintain, and improve test fixtures, harnesses, and laboratory equipmentPerform environmental and thermal testing using temperature chambers and related equipmentCollaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to validate product performance and reliabilityMaintain accurate test records, reports, and documentationParticipate in laboratory organization, safety practices, 5S activities, and continuous improvement initiativesSupport additional engineering and operational activities as neededQualifications Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related technical field3+ years of experience in electrical, electronics, battery, or power systems testingHands-on experience with common electrical test equipment and instrumentationExperience documenting test procedures, results, and technical reportsExperience with Python, LabVIEW, or other automation/programming toolsStrong troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environmentPreferred QualificationsExperience with battery systems, renewable energy systems, or power electronicsFamiliarity with environmental or thermal testingExperience developing automated test frameworksStartup or product development experiencePhysical RequirementsAbility to lift, move, push, and pull 30–50 pounds frequently; occasionally over 50 pounds with assistanceAbility to stand and walk for extended periodsAbility to kneel, squat, climb, and work at varying heights occasionallyAbility to work outdoors and in varied weather conditions, including hot and cold temperaturesWhat We OfferUp to $110,000 a yearComprehensive benefits packageCollaborative, mission driven work environmentAt Yotta Energy you won't be one of many, you'll be a key leader helping define how our operations scale.
