Test EngineerCimarron is seeking a Test Engineer to support the Boeing CST-100 Starliner program at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida.This is a part-time position that is expected to last at least 6 months with the possibility of an extension.Key Duties:Support with flow validation tests, leak checks and operate high-pressure fluid systems for spacecraft testing.Work with refrigerants, coolants, and oxygen systems, ensuring proper operation and safety.Support spacecraft integrated testing and troubleshooting efforts.Provide technical consultancy and innovation to internal stakeholders.Collaborate with different disciplines in order to meet Integration Testing Goals.Supports powered spacecraft integrated systems testing.Required Skills, Experience, and Education:Due to facility security requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for consideration at this time.Ability to complete a pre-employment background check and drug screening, which will include but is not limited to testing for marijuana use.This is a sensitive/safety-sensitive position and is subject to DOT random drug and alcohol testing.15 or more years of test engineering experience.Proficiency in leak detection, high-pressure system operations, and fluid system troubleshooting to ensure safe and efficient spacecraft testing.Experience operating command and control software to interact with spacecraft subsystemsExperience working with refrigerant, coolant, and oxygen systems in support of human spaceflight programs.Experience developing and executing procedures for leak checks and performing functional testing of spacecraft.Ability to operate high-pressure pneumatic equipment, including pressurized flight hardware.Possesses strong troubleshooting capabilities required to document and resolve non-conformances on both ground support equipment and flight hardware.Bachelor's degree.Desired Skills, Experience, and Education:Master's degree.Business Profile:Cimarron is a global solutions company with a strategic partnering approach to satisfying customer-driven requirements.
