Test & Evaluation Engineer 3Job Location: El Segundo, CA Duration: 6 monthsResponsibilities:Supports the development and verification of test methodsPerforms detailed test procedures, and instrumentation and configuration definition, needed to perform the test and minimize risk within the constraints of the test plan.Develops solutions to calibration systems problems of limited scope and impactDesigns test hardware, software and systems to achieve test requirementsAnalyzes, processes, and formats data to customer requirementsReviews test data, including off-nominal data, for accuracy, quality and/or fidelity prior to delivery to customerPrepares and publishes test reports to document test results and satisfy requirementsPresents test results internallyArchives data and reportsWorks under general direction from test leadsQualifications:Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science3+ years of experience working with specialized test equipment, instrumentation using electrical engineering test methodologies3+ years of experience performing automated tests and troubleshooting electronics equipment, hardware, and softwareExperience in software tools based in C#Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):5+ years experience working in a lab and/or production environment5+ years of experience with test instrumentation and/or test methods
