Key Responsibilities
The Territory Sales Executive will:
- Drive sales growth by strengthening relationships with existing customers and securing new business within the designated region.
- Assess customer packaging requirements and provide customized solutions that enhance productivity, optimize packaging performance, and deliver cost savings.
- Develop and execute prospecting strategies to identify and convert new accounts through networking, referrals, and market outreach.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, collaborating with operations, design, and customer service teams to address concerns and maintain satisfaction.
- Manage territory activity, maintain a healthy opportunity pipeline, conduct routine client meetings, and provide sales forecasts and account plans.
- Stay informed on industry trends, customer developments, and competitor activities to uncover additional revenue opportunities.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:
- 5+ years of field sales experience within the corrugated packaging industry.
- Strong knowledge of corrugated manufacturing, packaging design principles, converting processes, and end-user packaging applications.
- Demonstrated success in territory expansion, account penetration, and new customer acquisition.
- Effective solution-selling and relationship-building skills with the ability to understand customer challenges and deliver value-driven recommendations.
- Willingness and ability to travel throughout the assigned territory, up to 50%.
