Hiring: Independent Eyewear Sales Rep (1099), Western New York
I’m partnering with an established, independent eyewear company to find a sales rep for the Western New York territory, covering Buffalo, Rochester, and the surrounding areas.
Why this one is different:
- Real independence. The company isn’t owned by an insurance carrier or a retail giant. You’ll sell to optical practices that want frames chosen on quality and margin, not on what a vision plan dictates.
- You don’t start from zero. The territory comes with roughly 70 active accounts.
- Proven earning potential. Tenured reps earn $23–25K per month. Commission is 17–20%, a car and travel stipend is included, and there’s a long-term comp plan built for reps who want to grow a book over years.
- A deep bag. You’ll carry multiple frame collections across price points, so you have something for every practice.
Who we’re looking for:
- Outside B2B sales experience. Optical, dental, medical, or aesthetics distribution is a plus.
- Comfortable on a 1099, commission-based model and motivated by building something long-term
- Polished and credible in front of practice owners and opticians
- Self-managed, organized, and consistent in the field
- Based in or near Buffalo or Rochester, with a reliable vehicle and willingness to travel the territory
