They along with a team of Artisans uphold terrain's four promises: to welcome, to inspire, to inform and to appreciate our customer.Role ResponsibilitiesCustomer ExperienceLeads a team of Artisans to exceed customer expectations by building genuine, long-lasting relationships through personalized attention; ensure prompt customer communication with project inquiresDrives staff knowledge by sharing design and product information on new arrivals and current trends to directly inspire the team & customer; guides customer choices to reflect their unique personal styleActively plans and hosts workshops and special events in their area of expertise shares details to promote Terrain's unique events, as well as drive engagement and participationDelivers a seamless shopping experience through understanding and utilization of systems and applications for an efficient customer interactionTeamwork + CommunicationExhibits strong communication and contributes content while actively participating and leading daily meetings and/or projects; shares passion for plant, horticulture, and floral design & garden styleLeads by example with setting pace and productivity amongst the Artisan team to ensure they achieve or exceed individual or collaborative design goals and deadlinesOperates as an expert and resource for Artisans when projects or workload require problem-solving or reprioritizationVisual + Business OperationsUnderstands the terrain aesthetic and partners with design leadership to create compelling merchandise displays and installationsCollaborates and communicates with the nursery, event, and operations teams to ensure proper care and restocking of plant displays; maintains cleanliness and organization of back of house display areasLeads an area of specialty to provide elevated knowledge to customers and associates in a meaningful and interesting wayAdheres to store's safety standards, inventory accuracy, reduction of product loss, and upholds all company policy and procedures to support the profitability of the storeRole QualificationsExperience in customer serviceExperience in horticultural and floral designBasic knowledge of hand tools, wire usage, and glue gunsArt and design backgroundAbility to work flexible hours to meet the needs of the store including nights, weekends, and holidaysThe PerksURBN offers comprehensive Perks & Benefits to employees.
