Terminal Operators Wanted In Savannah, GAAre you looking for a hands-on, fast-paced opportunity where your work makes a global impact—exporting feed products to more than 20 countries worldwide?We're hiring Terminal Operators in the Savannah, GA area to support the safe and efficient movement of dried distillers' grains -essential products that power agriculture.Schedule: Monday through Friday, 6:45 AM - 4:30 PM, with occasional weekend and holiday work required (includes overtime, holiday pay + double time pay)Starting Pay: $19 per hour + potential bonus opportunities each pay period!What You'll DoUnload railcars filled with feed into shipping containers using mechanical equipmentOperate large machinery and equipment.Ensure safe, accurate, and on-time shipment handlingMaintain and execute grain operation processes, including repair and maintenanceMaintain a clean work area and participate in daily housekeeping of the facilityWork as part of a tight-knit, safety-first operations teamWhat We're Looking ForHigh-energy and motivated individualsDependable team players who take pride in getting the job done rightSafety-minded attitude in all tasksWillingness to learn equipment and operational systemsComfortable working year-round in an active, outdoor/industrial environmentWhy Join Us?Full training provided; no prior terminal experience neededOpportunity to build a long-term, stable careerFast-paced work where no two days are the sameA strong team environment where everyone contributesQualifications & SkillsHigh school diploma or equivalent required.Willing and able to meet call-in requirements and work extended hours as necessary.Willing and able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.Ability to understand the technical and day-to-day operation of a transload facility.Experience in truck loading and unloading, including rail tank car or grain hopper and tanker truck preferred.Willingness to obtain DOT certification (bonus points if you are already certified).Excellent organization and time management skills with a sense of urgency that drives results. Knowledge of the basics of the Microsoft Office Suite and the ability of learning new programs.Physical RequirementsThis role has some physical requirements that our team members will need to be able to perform, including, but not limited to walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling up and down ladders and stairs, negotiating uneven surfaces, and occasionally lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds.Due to the physical and safety-sensitive nature of this job, you will be subject to a physical and expected to pass a drug screen during the pre-screen process. During employment, you'll be subject to random drug and alcohol testing.Work EnvironmentThe work environment at POET is dynamic.
