We offer a complete benefits package to include: Health Insurance, Dental Insurance, Vision Insurance, 401k with company match and profit-sharing, Paid Time Off, Paid Holidays, Tuition Reimbursement, Employee Assistance Program, Disability Pay, Life Insurance, Growth Opportunities and more!What you'll be contributing:Complete daily loading, unloading, administration and safety requirements on site.Actively participate in site maintenance and upkeep to drive the 5s and "make it better" programs.Engage with customers to ensure a solid customer experience on site.Promote and follow all plant safety guidelines.Load trucks and/or rail cars as per the daily schedule utilizing the on-site systems.Unload product as per the daily schedule utilizing the on-site systems.Operate on site mobile equipment and receive training.Handle inquiries and orders for customers and sales personnel.Maintain shipping logs, prepare bills of lading, and calculate split-load tonnages based on a customer's instructions.Work with company apps for site emails, safety incident reporting, completing training and other programs.Maintain supply point and 5S standards.Assist with basic maintenance of equipment on site.Additional duties as assigned by supervisor.To succeed in this position, you will need:High school graduation or equivalent is required.One to two years experience is preferred.Ability to read, write and understand warning labels, instructions, signs, etc.Willingness to learn, training will be provided.Mechanical ability an asset.Experience with inventory control software, proficiency with MS Word and Excel.Safety awareness and ability to adhere to company safety requirements.Good communication skills to deal with truckers, customers and other employees.Work well with others and individually.Effective problem solving, decision making and attention to detail.Significant use of memory. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.What to expect in a cement environment:Work to be performed in a shop environment as well as outdoor exposure throughout the plant.Mild exposure to cement dust, heat, cold, and noise requires compliance with specified safety guidelines and procedures.Exposure to high elevations of up to 250 feet in height.Exposure to all weather conditions.Normal operation of mobile equipment may result in jarring and vibratory exposure.We provide stability and advancement opportunities across North America.
