Tenure-Track Native American & Indigenous Studies Professor

Carleton College invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor in Native American and Indigenous Studies to begin September, 2027. A Ph.D. in American Studies, Ethnic Studies, or NAIS is strongly preferred, with interdisciplinary training encouraged.

The candidate should have the Ph.D. in hand by Sept 1, 2027. The position involves offering NAIS-focused courses and core American Studies courses, and supporting the development of a Native American and Indigenous Studies minor.
