To support K-12 students' academic and emotional development, a part-time Tennessee Licensed School Counselor will provide individual and group counseling, conduct assessments, and collaborate with educators and families in a remote setting. Key responsibilities Provide individual and group counseling to address students' academic, personal, social, and career development needs Conduct assessments and screenings to develop appropriate interventions and support plans for students Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to create a supportive school environment that promotes student success Required qualifications Master's degree in School Counseling or related field from an accredited program Current state licensure or certification as a School Counselor or eligibility for licensure Previous experience working as a School Counselor in a school or educational setting (preferred) Strong understanding of child and adolescent development and mental health issues Proficiency in assessment and crisis intervention techniques
