Supporting front end hospital billing operations, the full-time remote Tennessee Licensed Hospital Billing Specialist will manage the review, correction, and submission of hospital claims to various insurance payers, ensuring compliance with billing guidelines and maintaining a high clean claim rate. Key responsibilities Coordinate daily front end hospital billing activities to ensure accurate claims submission to insurance payers Review and resolve front end claim edits before claims are released to payers Maintain a high clean claim rate by ensuring claims meet payer billing guidelines prior to submission Required qualifications High School diploma or equivalent required Minimum 1 year of front end hospital billing experience required Minimum 1 year of experience submitting hospital claims through billing clearinghouses required Working knowledge of institutional hospital claims and payer billing requirements required Experience resolving front end claim edits before payer adjudication required
