Temporary Registered Nurse (RN) ED

Schedule : PRN Nights

Assignment Length : 13‑Week Temporary Assignment

Compensation : Flat Rate of $60.00 per hour

How You’ll Contribute

• Demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of patients served in the ED.
• Apply knowledge of growth and development over the life span and assess data to identify patients’ age‑specific needs.
• Supervise, coordinate, and delegate patient care ensuring efficiency and compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and scope of practice.
• Demonstrate professionalism by participating in performance improvement activities and applying nursing research.

Qualifications

• Current VA or Compact RN license.
• One year of ED experience preferred.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS and PALS certifications required within 6 months.
• Advanced Stroke Course preferred.
