Temporary Purchasing Expeditor

Job TitleResponsible for communicating with suppliers to ensure that critical deliveries arrive at our dock, must be organized, detail-oriented, able to multi-task and manage multiple priorities.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesInclude the following. Other duties may be assigned.Follows up with supplier on past due purchase orders.Expedites parts that are critical for the operation.Contact suppliers to get tracking information on critical parts.Maintain constant contact with vendors to verify parts will arrive to our dock on time.Tracks shipments to our dock.Notify supervisor in a timely manner if a critical delivery is delayed.Informs pricing discrepancy to the buyer.Ensures acknowledgments are received.QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
