Temporary Payroll Manager

To support payroll operations for over 500 employees, the Temporary Payroll Manager will manage end-to-end payroll processing in UKG, oversee payroll tax registrations and reconciliations, and assist with the implementation of a new payroll system, Rippling, from October 26, 2026 through January 31, 2027 in a remote capacity. Key Responsibilities Run the full payroll cycle for 500+ employees, ensuring accurate data entry and maintenance in UKG Own state and local payroll tax registrations and reconcile payroll tax filings and payments Assist with the transition to Rippling, including data migration and testing payroll results Required Qualifications 5-10 years of progressive payroll experience with end-to-end processing for 500+ employees Hands-on experience using UKG (UKG Pro) for payroll management Multi-state payroll experience, including tax registration and reconciliation Strong knowledge of payroll regulations, including final-pay rules Advanced Excel skills for audits and reconciliations
