Position Summary

This position will help address an existing matter backlog, manage incoming requests, and maintain accurate case information throughout the matter lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Open, update, and close litigation matters while ensuring case records remain complete and accurate.
• Review and address a backlog of matter-related administrative tasks.
• Organize litigation deadlines, case information, and supporting documentation.
• Triage incoming matters and route requests based on priority and required action.
• Monitor the steady flow of new matters and assist with initial matter setup.
• Prepare, organize, and quality-check exhibits as matters progress.
• Support subpoena responses, document collections, and document productions.
• Maintain production files, tracking materials, and related matter documentation.
• Coordinate with attorneys and internal stakeholders to obtain missing information and resolve outstanding requests.
• Perform high-volume, detail-oriented litigation and administrative support work.

Qualifications

• Previous experience supporting litigation matters in a law firm, corporate legal department, or similar environment.
• Experience opening, maintaining, and closing legal matters.
• Familiarity with litigation deadlines, exhibits, subpoenas, and document productions.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously.
• Ability to prioritize a high volume of incoming requests and meet established deadlines.
• Consistent attention to detail when reviewing case information and litigation materials.
• Ability to perform a combination of litigation support and matter administration responsibilities. xhqgsiq
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal matter management or document management systems.
