Brief Summary of Work for this Position

The College of Humanities, Social Sciences, and the Arts is seeking temporary/part‑time faculty for the academic year 2026‑2027 who can teach in one or more of the following Social Sciences departments:

• International Studies
• Public and International Affairs
• Sociology and Criminology

The academic year includes:

• Summer 2026
• Fall 2026
• Spring 2027

This is a temporary position. Duration will be based on department need, with possible continuation. Temporary employees are not considered permanent state employees and do not earn leave.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements

Undergraduate‑level teaching: Master’s degree with at least 18 graduate credit hours in the teaching discipline from a regionally accredited institution.

Graduate‑level teaching: Terminal (Ph.D.) degree in the teaching discipline from a regionally accredited institution.

Those with equivalent verifiable professional experience, certifications, and licensures in the discipline may also be considered.
