We're assembling a team of driven, knowledgeable professionals who are ready to streamline processes, optimize reimbursement, and support our clinical teams for overall practice success.ResponsibilitiesEssential Duties And Responsibilities:Medical claim data entry into practice management system from pre-coded visit listEnter patient demographics and insurance information into practice management systemMaintain patient privacy according to applicable laws and regulationsPerform data entry tasks & verify accuracy of said dataPrepare various reportsGather information from hospital portalsContacting patients by phone to obtain necessary informationOther projects & duties as assignedQualificationsMinimum Qualifications:Knowledge of medical insurance carriers preferredWorking knowledge of CPT/diagnosis/modifiers and related information required for claim submission preferredAbility to obtain information from hospital portals and contacting patients by phone requiredPrevious experience in healthcare or medical setting preferredExperience with Microsoft Office software requiredExperience with data entry systems/dashboards preferredPhysical Demands:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
