What You’ll Do
Strategic Planning (35%)
- Guide the team in translating client goals into strategic media solutions that grow clients’ brands and ensure consistency across all plan elements.
- Supervise implementation and development of media briefs, building strategic and tactical recommendations.
- Be responsible and accountable for final reporting and analysis of campaigns, ensuring data accuracy and presenting findings to clients.
- Manage progress of reporting deliverables, provide input, and ensure recommended optimizations are applied to future campaigns.
- Understand how attribution models function and their benefits to clients.
- Lead research initiatives, identifying tools and resources that aid consumer insight gathering and strategic planning.
Account Management (10%)
- Anticipate client requests, troubleshoot and problem-solve with internal teams to proactively provide solutions.
- Lead performance calls and status meetings, providing perspective to clients.
- Engage with investment teams to ensure successful campaign execution and manage performance within flight.
- Collaborate with activation teams to bring media plan recommendations to life and deliver plan deliverables to clients.
- Partner with Associate Director and Director to understand and deliver on clients’ holistic business needs.
Relationship Management (15%)
- Build and maintain relationships with core clients and industry partners, serving as the Horizon Next contact.
- Serve as a conduit for strategic leadership from senior team to junior team.
- Interview to fill junior team member openings.
Supervision/Management (40%)
- Oversee junior team member engagement and interactions with other Horizon Next departments.
- Ensure a fully integrated approach across all channels and teams.
- Promote the work of both junior and senior team members and set a positive team environment.
- Guide the team in setting goals and professional development timelines.
- Manage performance, coach to maximize success, identify training needs, set career development goals, and act upon them.
- Participate in the interview process for junior team members.

Preferred Skills & Experience
- 3+ years of experience developing strategic media recommendations and stewarding media account projects.
- Experience utilizing multiple media channels.
- Thorough understanding of advanced analytics and performance media.
- Familiarity with marketing principles, analytics, and concepts.
- Prior experience in a client contact and leadership role.
- Strong mentorship experience in developing media professionals and managing a small team.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills; able to confidently present and sell ideas internally and to clients.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and media research/reporting resources.

Salary Range
$1,635.00 to $1,923.00 a week. The actual weekly or hourly rate may vary based on skill sets, experience, training, licences, certifications, and equity.
