What You'll Do:
- Support clinical interventions utilizing evidence-based practices under supervision of a Physical Therapist
- Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatments to patients with physical functioning disorders
- Administer procedures such as manual techniques, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and device support
- Assess patient progress and communicate updates to supervising therapists
- Document all treatments and patient responses accurately in electronic medical records
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers about treatment plans and progress
- Support and supervise students or new team members as needed
- Participate in meetings, trainings, and continuing education
What You Need:
- Valid State Licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant
- At least 1 year of experience preferred, especially in Long Term Care settings
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Knowledge of regulatory and clinical practice requirements
