With CCTV cameras, pre-built vehicles, and software for pipeline inspection and rehabilitation, we improve the safety and reliability of our water infrastructure systems.Job SummaryAs an Operations Warehouse Admin, you will assist the inventory control team in documenting/updating/creating SOPs by functional areas within the warehouse.
You will be involved in updating inventory part records in regard to obsolescence.Job ResponsibilitiesWhile each day brings new opportunities at SPX, your core responsibilities will be:Projects & Continuous ImprovementProvide support to Supply Chain and Warehouse teams in the execution of technical activities associated with process improvements, such as:SOP documentation/updatingPart usage analysisWarehouse design and layoutKitting of parts for manufacturing and assemblyLearn and perform testing to enhance system usage and support execution of material movement throughout two warehouse locationsAssist in obsolescence review/removal from inventory and system updateLead other projects as assignedExperience, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, EducationWe each bring something to the table, and we are looking for someone who has:Required Experience and EducationKnowledge of MRP systems, production control and inventory control.Microsoft Office suite experience.Associate's degree required.Preferred Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesFamiliarity with fundamental warehouse proceduresLean manufacturing experience, including 5S.Travel & Working EnvironmentManufacturing Environment frequently requires use of foot and eye protection when in production areasAbility to climb, stoop, crouch and crawlAbility to lift/move up to 25lbs occasionallyOur CultureOur culture is at the center of what we do and, more importantly, who we are.
