Material Handler ILocation: Marlborough, MADuration: 08 months of contract (Extension possible)Client: HologicPR: $18/hr. - $21/hr. on W2Shift: 7 am-3:30 pm/9 am - 5:30 pm OR 10:30 am – 7 pm; Mon – Fri (EST)Job Description: Under general supervision dismantle, adjust, rework, repair and perform packaging of equipment according to assembly drawings, schematics and procedures with the general understanding of compliance requirements.
Responsible for maintaining quality & safety standards and Operational excellence.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Organize and verify packaging components. Perform instrument packaging in a safe & timely fashion per procedures or technical documents.Complete and maintain quality and packaging documentation as requiredComply with, participate in, and maintain 6S events and follow upsMaintain and/or participate in daily management boards (if applicable)Assists with/completes inventory transactionsInitiates proper disposition of defective parts using NCE processAccountable for inventory accuracyAccountable for daily completion of NCE processAble to work in a team environmentPerform equipment maintenance as requiredUnderstand and comply with all work safety rules and regulationsParticipate in cross-training to meet schedule needsWork on special projects as requestedAbility to work overtime to meet production schedule as neededQualifications:Education: High School Diploma or equivalent preferredExperience: At least 1+ years of manufacturing or warehouse experienceSkills:Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) knowledge a plusBasic Knowledge of ORACLE and AGILE application preferredBasic knowledge of hand tools such as screwdrivers, wrenches, torque tools, crimpers, soldering, multi-meter and oscilloscopeAbility to read and follow assembly drawings, procedures, and schematicsAbility to follow the written procedures to maintain GMP compliance and ISO 13485 certification.Basic computer knowledge of Microsoft Outlook. Knowledge of Excel is a preferredMust be able to read and understand EnglishAbility to communicate effectively, both written and verballyDetail oriented and accurateAdditional requirements: 1+ years experience required.
