Inventory Clerk IIIResponsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:Help prep iPads. This includes applying barcodes, putting them in cases and enrolling/updating the softwareFulfill shipments to field reps using FedEx Ship ManagerEnsure that inventories are secure, properly identified and readily accessible to authorized personnelMaintain controls over various types of inventories (e.g., raw materials, subassemblies, finished goods)Conduct physical inventory counts and reconciles results with inventory recordsEnsure that quantities of incoming and outgoing shipments are correctConduct analyses of inventory levels and coordinates with production and sales requirementsPRODUCTION SUPPORT CAREER STREAM:Will be involved in shipping, receiving, inventory control, or storage of products in distribution centerProvides support in distribution efforts including assembly, processing, packaging, and/or distribution of company productsMay set up equipment in a continuous production/processing operationReports any malfunctions or abnormalities in devices/workflows and recommends solutions/adjustments to methods and processesDIFFERENTIATING FACTORS:Autonomy: Works under limited supervision, with no instruction needed on routine work and general instructions given on new activitiesOrganizational Impact: Performs activities requiring considerable judgment and may have ownership of minor projects in distribution operationsInnovation and Complexity: Problems faced are general and may require some analysis to understand and resolveCommunication and Influence: Communicates typically with internal and external contacts, as neededPrior Knowledge and Experience:Broad knowledge of operational systems and practices typically gained through prior work experience and/or educationMinimum 2 years of experience in inventory management and shippingThe ideal candidate will have experience with FedEx Ship Manager, SalesForce.com, and strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
