Electro/Mechanical Assembler ILocation: 600 Technology Drive, Newark, DE 19702 Duration: 12 months of contract (Extension possible) Client: Hologic PR: $19.50/hr. - $23.50/hr. on W2 Shift: 6 am - 2:30 pm; Mon – Fri (EST)Duties and Responsibilities:Responsible for building, testing and inspecting electro-mechanical assemblies per specification.
May involve system level assembly and sub-assembly test.Assembles sub-assemblies and system level hardwarePerforms in process sub-assembly testing of product being manufactured, when requiredCompletes Device History Record dataPerforms assembly and test requirements for reconditioned hardware, when requiredPerform packaging functions in Instruments Manufacturing, when requiredMaintain compliance with policies QSR, ISO, EH and SProficiency with basic hand tools such as screwdrivers, wrenches, torque tools, terminal crimpers, and soldering ironsAbility to follow written instructions such as assembly procedures, test procedures mechanical assembly drawingsExperience with basic mechanical inspection equipment such as calipers and indicatorsExperience with basic electrical test equipment such as MultimetersSupports the day-to-day operations of manufacturing and service support to forecast, and regulatory compliance and policies QSR, ISO, EH and SProvides training as neededParticipates in the reduction of risk and injury in the workplace by identifying risks and implementing controls to eliminate or minimize riskSupports internal departmental audits of manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with policies QSR, ISO, EH and SPerform other duties as requiredEducation: High school diploma or equivalent experience and or training.
