Represents the Bank in a courteous manner, providing prompt, efficient, and accurate service in processing transactions.Essential FunctionsPerform routine customer transactions including deposits, withdrawals and loan payments; cash checks within approval limitAccept foreign checks for collectionBuy and sell foreign currency for customersIssue money orders and treasurer's checksMaintain and control an assigned cash box; balance cash and work at day's endProcess mail transactionsOrder and verify exchanges of cash with main cash vaultRedeem Savings BondsIdentify BSA transactionsIdentify Funds Availability transactionsBe knowledgeable with the Bank's products and servicesProperly quote interest ratesVerify and process daily night bag depositsAssist with ATM settlement when requestedAttain referral goals as assignedAdhere to the Customer Service StandardsCover switchboard as necessaryMay have check signing authorityPerform additional duties as requiredCompetenciesStrong customer service skills; strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with all types of customers; ability to pay attention to detail.Required Education and ExperienceHigh school diploma or EquivalentCash handling and customer service experience preferred (length and type)
