Position Overview

The Full‑Time Teller / New Accounts Representative will handle traditional teller duties and new account opening, providing a holistic experience for customers.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Handle cash transactions and negotiate instrument transactions, including verification, identification, and counterfeit detection.
• Balance ATMs, cash drawers, and daily totals.
• Perform deposits, loan payments, checks, money orders, and cashier’s checks.
• Build customer loyalty by uncovering needs and recommending products.
• Open consumer and business accounts, manage onboarding, resolve service issues.
• Engage in outbound sales, attend community events, and drive bank visibility.
• Assist customers with self‑service technologies.
• Maintain privacy and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Complete and pass all required regulatory compliance training.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Hours and Availability

• Monday – Friday
• Opening shift: 7:45 am – 4:45 pm
• Closing shift: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
• Closed Saturday and Sunday.

Education, Experience, & Licenses

• High school degree or higher – required.
• Minimum 1 year of teller or new account experience – preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of customer service and cash‑handling experience – required.

Physical Demands

Employee must perform tasks such as sitting, standing, walking, lifting, operating office equipment, and working extended hours as required. Vision requirements include close visual acuity for data analysis and machine operation.

Starting salary will vary based on experience and location.
