TellerSummary: Provide service to Bank customers by conducting transactions, assisting with inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely manner. service charges, balances, account history, etc.Refer customers to a platform employee for transactions or questions that cannot be addressed at the teller lineProtect customer privacy and maintain confidentialityAdhere to all Bank policies/proceduresReceive checking/savings deposits and withdrawals: verify cash, endorsements, identification, and issue receiptsDetermine proper funds availability for checks cashed or deposited based on Bank and regulatory requirementsComplete Regulation CC Holds, as neededRedeem U.S. Savings BondsIssue money orders, cashier's checksAssist safe deposit box customersAccept loan payments: verify payment amount, ensure proper loan payment code, and issue receiptsBuy/sell cash from vault as necessary, ensuring teller drawer cash limits are not exceededBalance teller drawer daily, including locating cash discrepanciesPerform end of day balancing and Teller Capture balancingComplete Currency Transaction Reports (CTR), Suspicious Activity Reports (SAR), and Monetary Instrument Logs (MIL)Refer customers to the Head Teller or Branch Manager for issues that you cannot resolveBalance ATM and load cash into ATMEnsure teller station is properly supplied and neatMaintain security of teller station including keys, combos, cash drawers, and teller workPromote and maintain positive relations with all employees, contacts, customers, and potential customers.Represent the bank in business development efforts and civic and community functions.Secondary or Additional Job Duties:This job description in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed.
